Miami, FL is one of the most popular beaches in the world. With the amazing weather, luxurious beaches and amazing sites to see , and to offer there is no question as to why this is a very
popular vacation spot. Besides the beaches here are some other things to do in Miami.
- The Miami zoo is the largest zoological garden in Florida and has about 750 acres with over 100 exhibits. It is also the only tropical zoo in the continental U.S.
- Miami also features a jungle island between downtown Miami and South Beach, and features many family friendly events including petting zoos and bottle feeding some animals.
- The art deco tour is a great place for any art and architecture lovers. The tour is a great way to see many 1920's and 30's art/ architecture.
- Miami has an ancient Spanish monastery in north Miami beach. Life Magazine called this the worlds's largest and most expensive jigsaw puzzle. The monastery is also used as a church but still remains a tourist attraction that contains lots of history and viewers say that the gardens are an amazing site as well.
- If you have any children then the Miami Children's Museum is a great place to take them. This museum includes great interactive exhibits like the castle of dreams and world music studio where kids tour a recording studio and sing karaoke.
- If your just looking for a place to shop, the Lincoln Road Mall provides a great variety of shopping areas and is a mile long. This place also hosts many outdoor concerts and has its own movie theatre.
